Terms of use – API client

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the internal API client "PHP Schmiede Shorts Publisher" of PHP Schmiede KG, Rheine. The client is an internal tool, runs on a dedicated server, is not publicly accessible, is not offered as a product and is not licensed to third parties. These terms apply to all channels on which the client is used.

2. Users

The client is operated exclusively by employees of PHP Schmiede KG. There are no external user accounts and no registration.

3. Purpose and mode of operation

The client is used to produce our own short videos on web and software topics and to publish them on the channels owned by PHP Schmiede KG.

No data of other users is processed, no third-party accounts or channels are read, no third-party content is uploaded and no data is passed on to third parties. There is no advertising and no resale. There is no automated interaction with third-party accounts: the client does not follow accounts, does not write comments and does not give ratings.

4. Scope of API access per channel

In all cases, access is limited to the own accounts of PHP Schmiede KG.

• YouTube: The endpoints videos.insert, videos.list, playlists.list, playlistItems.insert and captions.insert are used. These are used to upload videos, check their status, sort them into our own playlists and store our own subtitle tracks in German and English.
• TikTok: The Content Posting API is used for uploading to our own account.
• LinkedIn: The endpoints /rest/videos and /rest/posts are used. These are used to publish posts on our own company page and to share them from the owner's profile.

5. Approval procedure

Every publication is preceded by a personal approval by a responsible person, and in two stages: once for the script and once for the finished video. Every approval is logged with time and person. Nothing is published without approval.
